What is the Be Active Sandgropers Club?

• It’s a “virtual” adult swimming club administered by Masters Swimming WA in Perth
• Promotes swimming for health and fitness benefits
• Club is affiliated with Masters Swimming WA

• Emailed training programs provided half yearly if required
• Personal accident insurance during any swimming activity
• Access to free coaching clinics in country areas when available
• Coaching advice and tips (written explanation of swim drills and training)
• Access to train with MSWA clubs when visiting Perth/major regional centres
• Compete in interclub/state/national and international meets

Training Programs

• Programs prepared by qualified and experienced coaches
• 4 different categories- novice, intermediate, proficient, expert

• Conducted in various country areas
• Cater for all swimming abilities
• Run by qualified and experienced coaches
• 3 hour clinics – practical and theory

Who can become a Sandgroper?

• Any country swimmer aged 18 years or above
• Programs cater for those just out of lessons through to experienced swimmers

• Annual membership for calendar year is $77
• 16 month membership (1 Sept 2009 to 31 Dec 2010) is $88 (discounted)
