10th January 2012 General Update: HAPPY NEW YEAR 1) 2012 Pool Events Calendar - The first BACC meet is set for Newman Churchlands on 12th February. Because we are moving to a new website soon through Clubs On-line attached is the Event Flyer & Entry Form. 2) REMINDER - Membership registrations and renewals- note that from 1st September 2011 no manual payments are accepted and all must be completed on-line. 3) 2012 State Championships in Bunbury at South West Aquatic Centre - Sunday/Monday 4/5 March Long weekend. Meet program here. A fun filled weekend of swimming and friendship is planned so ecnourage your fellow club members to book accomodation now and start planning your relay teams! Masters Swimming WA is affiliated with Masters Swimming Australia and has 33 Clubs with nearly 1400 members throughout the State which offer fantastic benefits both physical and mental for their members. Any adult aged 18 and over can join and one does not have to be a good swimmer to participate and enjoy the "Fitness, Friendship and Fun" that abounds at all Clubs through regular swimming participation. If competition is your thing then you will enjoy the interclub swim meets that are offered and open water swims in summer, however most Masters members belong to their Club for what the Club offers - regular training sessions to get fit and healthy, a community spirit and lots of social activities.
